Representing 3rd Ward, the New Orleans trio Prime Suspects dropped a very solid project Oct 6th, 1998. “Guilty til Proven Innocent” showcased Glock, Uzi and New-9’s distinct flows and catchy choruses, carrying the album to supremely underrated status. Using quality bars and well-written hooks, the group didn’t have to rely heavily on features as they were able to carry the 20-track album mostly by themselves. Joints like “My Old Lady,” “Mac and Choppers” and “Consequences of the Streets” hit today just like they did in ‘98.
